This is my first Unreal Engine Project.
This spring I entered a course on Environment Design using the Unreal Engine at Pulse College Dublin,
mainly because I felt it will take my concepts to a whole new level.
I ended up learning a ton, and not just about Unreal,
but sprucing up my general knowledge on 3d pipelines in video game production,
all under great mentorship of Eros Dadoli.

The story of the scene is again an exploration of the abandoned idea from Looking Glass Studios called
Dark Camelot, from which came about my favorite game 'Thief'.
I already did some character concepts for that fictional game and wanted to make more concepts for the idea, while
learning new software and workflows.
The centerpiece is a machine made by Merlin, used to drain power out of Excalibur, since it can not be pulled out of the stone by an unworthy kings (in this version Arthur is an usurper).
Software used in this project: 3D Coat, Blender, Unreal Engine, Zbrush, Substance Painter, Quixel Megascans, Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint.
